The Hankinson-Mantador Dollars for Scholars
Dollars for Scholars®, a program of Scholarship America®, is a national network of locally-based, volunteer-driven Dollars for Scholars chapters throughout the United States. Since the organization was founded in 1958, more than $2 billion has been awarded to more than 2 million students across the country.
The Hankinson-Mantador Dollars for Scholars was formed in 1991. Our mission is to raise funds for scholarships and to award the scholarships in a fair, equitable and nondiscriminatory manner to graduates of Hankinson High School.
The interest from our endowment fund is used to provide scholarships. Since inception, Hankinson-Mantador Dollars for Scholars has awarded over $165,100 to 294 graduates. In May of 2019, we awarded 18 scholarships totaling over $16,000.
